This course has given me a great insight into the Hairdressing Industry. The practical classes in the new College Salon were really fantastic and I particularly enjoyed both the Creative Styling and Barbering modules. The Digital Marketing module was also very useful as it provided an understanding of ways to promote my business in the future. The integrated placement on one day a week is a brilliant part of the programme and allows learners the chance to get invaluable experience in the industry. I hope to progress to full-time employment on completion of the programme.

This course was a huge benefit to me, i grew communication skills in hairdressing and the tutors were very helpful. Teachers were excellent at preparing us for exams. Since i complete my Level 5, i have been accepted to the Level 6 in Cavan Institute, however i chose to do an apprenticeship, they recognised my award and hired me straight away. I can’t thank the teachers enough for all they did for me and the confidence i gained from doing this course”.
