I would highly recommend the Pre-University Nursing with Midwifery course to anyone leaving school or returning to education who thinks they might be interested in a career in nursing or midwifery. O’Fiaich is a very relaxed environment which really struck me from the moment I started there. All the teachers are so helpful, and the course content was delivered in an exceptional manner. All modules are so beneficial in relation to nursing and midwifery and the work placement gives students hands on experience of what it is like to work in the healthcare sector. The theory and practical elements of the course are invaluable to anyone who wants to go on and do their nursing degree. As a result of this course, I am now in DKIT studying level 8 Honours Nursing degree.
