PAST STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

I thoroughly enjoyed the Pharmacy Assistant course at Ó Fiaich Institute. This course enabled me to work part time in a Pharmacy upon completion of the course, after gaining the work through work placement within the course. This course gave all students the opportunity to receive an extra qualification in Medicines Counter Assistant certificate (which is registered with the Irish Pharmacy Union), along with our QQI certificate. This extra course was really useful in work placement and also helped with gaining confidence when customers asked about over the counter products. After missing the points for pharmacy by over 100 points in the Leaving Cert, upon completion of this course along with my PLC, less than four months after completing the PLC I have secured a place studying Pharmacy in the UK. This course has enabled me to truly experience working in a pharmacy and also really helped me gain confidence with the customer service module. Most importantly, this course helped me to secure a place and progress onto a Masters of Pharmacy degree.
