I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is thinking about going into nursing or care work as it greatly prepares you for working on the wards as a nurse and how to properly care for patients. The course teaches you to be observant of any emotional and physical changes in your patients and how to react to these situations. The course has greatly prepared me for third level as well which I am very thankful for. I am now looking forward to completing my degree in Children's and General Nursing in UCD over the next four years.

I would recommend this course to others if they are considering studying nursing. During the year I decided I was given the great opportunities to work in a nursing home and a children’s hospital. It helped me decide if I wanted to go into paediatric nursing or general. I also feel very prepared for university because of this course. This course is also great for people who don’t want to go to university and would like to go straight into working in a healthcare facility. Everyone in the college is really helpful and this makes the course even more enjoyable.
